Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PoAHS) is one of Nepal's leading government medical academies, located in Ramghat, Pokhara, Gandaki Province. It was established by upgrading the Western Regional Hospital into an autonomous health sciences academy under the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences Act, 2072 B.S. (2016 A.D.).
The MBBS program is conducted entirely in English and follows the curriculum prescribed by the Nepal Medical Council. Students receive extensive clinical exposure at the 500-bed Western Regional Teaching Hospital, one of the busiest government hospitals in western Nepal.
